Mo' Mohamed Benhadj, Artist inspired his philosophy and nature.

"Sometimes we think it is finished, we think that the end is the end of everything, but most of the times it is the beginning of something else…"

This is the inspiration behind his last collection exhibited in May 2011 at Sheraton hotel in Algiers with the topic "Electric Sunset landscapes".

A topic that strongly touched the community of Algerian artists with its indefinite palette of colors and its electric cables standing out from the ordinary and creating a new style of Algerian modern art.

Mohamed Benhadj, a young artist born in 1986, has been interested in drawing from a young age on. Today it has become more than just a childhood passion, but rather a way to express himself, a way to pass on his vision and his sensitivity of his understanding of the world.

Nature is what made him the child dreaming of passing the day under the light of the sun to receive energy from all that surrounds him to create an imaginary and creative world.

The artist Mohamed Benhadj came to life
in Algiers with his first personal exhibition, after his very first one together with other young artists under the umbrella of the Algerian society of fine arts in Algiers in July 2010. After spending a few months among this family of Algerian artists, with whom he had created his first paintings, the artist was ready to depart on his own journey.
The collection "Electric Sunset landscapes" is composed of eleven (11) watercolor paintings representing sunsets illustrated with lots of colors and natural nuances that remain unnoticed by many people who don't pay attention to details reflecting the outside world and our source of life. Electric cables cross most of his paintings in an original way, immediately marking the modern style of the artist who remains at the same time inspired by nature.

Between his philosophy and his brushes, he introduces his art to many others in Algiers, symbolizing the life and the human in a real world usually perceived as an imaginary world. The reason why Mohamed Benhadj paints with all his colors creating real harmony in order to transmit his message.

On 22nd May 2011, shortly after his exposition, he made his first sale during a charity auction supporting a humanitarian cause by donating to UNICEF projects.
Discovered about a month ago by a gallery with a high reputation for being the center of contemporary art in Leiden in the Netherlands for an exhibition of his collection « Electric Sunset landscapes » with the Noodweer art gallery to show his creations along from the 17th July until 28th August 2011. During this period, the journalist Jeroen Hendriks will meet the artist for an interview to then publish an article about art, art in Islam and the life of a Muslim artist in the Dutsh Muslim Magazine and, of course, the exceptional experience shared between the art gallery Noodweer and Mohamed Benhadj

Honored by the invitation for his second exhibition in Leiden, also his first one on an international level, he will continue to tour Europe for another exhibition at Barcelona (Spain) from 1st to 16th September 2011 with the organization "Art sans frontiers" as a representative of his country among 13 different countries:

In the following, he will still exhibit his paintings in Barcelona participating in a big international event organized by "Arte sin fronteras" on 25th October at the occasion of the « International Day of Paintings » celebrating the birthday of the greatest mentor and artist of all times Pablo Picasso.

68 artists of different nationalities are part of the biggest art event in 2011 around the globe, also Mohamed Benhadj, Algerian artist, representing the colors of his country.

"Sometimes we think it is finished, we think that the end is the end of everything, but most of the times it is the beginning of something else…" and for this young artist it nothing else but just the beginning … … … …
